Traits

                       My positive traits gave me strength and confidence in my daily life. These are my positive traits, I am kind as well as I am obedient to my parents and sisters. My friends also told me that I’m also an unpredictable person and I admit that. It is because I never tell my plans to anyone even with my friends. If there are positive traits there is also a negative trait. I’m jealous when it comes to my friends. I want them to be with me forever and I don’t want to share them to anyone. I also hold grudges because if someone made a mistake  to me, I can’t forget  what he / she did to me.

Planting Trees

                  Today, Global Warming is worsening. It is very evident in all the strong cyclones and typhoons affecting various countries in the world. It seems that every year, cyclones and typhoons became more and more stronger. With this, flash flood is the most common outcome of these natural disasters. To avoid or  lessen the effect of climate change, we should plant trees. Excess water can be absorbed by the tree which in return will decrease the water that become flood.  Trees can also be good for our health condition. If the population of trees are greater than the population of people in the world someday, the problems in climate change will be  minimize.

Cramming

                             Finals are just around the corner. It is hell week again. I remember when I was in my Grade 9, it is a very stressful week for us. We have unfinished projects and assignments that must be submitted a week before finals. Although we don’t want to procrastinate, however because all of our subject has one project that must be done, we can’t help but cram. I remember vividly my mother always gets mad at me because I always came home late just to finish our projects.  My groupmates and I helped each other. We settle and prioritized the ones that need to be pass first. Thank God we survived. I think I will not be able to handle it without them.

Technology

Korea and Japan are both a developed country. They are both leading when it comes to economy and technological advancement. I think this is true because of the hard work of their respective citizens. The greatest contributions of Korea are the advancement in smartphone technology, mp3’s and online games. While in Japan are the advancement in transportations and video games. It make sense that there is a tough competition between the two countries. However, they are lot of differences between the two countries like the development, language, foods, tradition and religion.

Born to Beat

                                          I consider one of the best and outstanding in the entertainment industry is Born to Beat (BtoB). They are Korean ballad singers from South Korea. They are very funny on and off cam and they are also true to themselves. I like them because they are hardworking and versatile. Some of them work as an actor as well as a singer. When they had a fan meeting, they didn’t use a script not like the other group. They are harmonious with each other. I love their songs because they are healing songs as they said. Admiring them is not a waste of time because they gave me joy and laughter to the point that I am crying. I know it is silly but it is true. 

PAMPANGA ESCAPADE

                           My friends and I decided to go to Skyranch in Pampanga to unwind and destress ourselves from school. It is also declared as holiday because of the APEC Summit, we use our saved money to buy the things and food that we need. When we got there the park is not yet open, we play the “truth or dare” game. The loser will obey the winner’s request regardless of whether it is hard or not. After the game, we played in the arcade on the nearby mall. Next, we roam around the mall. Finally, the park is already open. We ride on the rollercoaster, ferris wheel and anchor’s away. We shout our hearts out.  It is an experience of a lifetime especially I am with my friends.  We will treasure this moment because we are graduating and we will not be seeing each other as often as before.

Friendship is the treasure that I will keep forever and let me introduce my treasures.

              Yasmin is the responsible and the stylist one in our clique, she is always in charge for the clothes that we should wear on every event that we will attend. She stand as a mother to us because she always told us what to do in times the we are pressure and stress in our lives and she is the one who handles our saved money. Pauleen is the talented one she used to be a singer and she also love to paint and draw. She is my partner to make our friends laugh. Micaella is the artistic one and food provider, she loves art specially painting. She is also the food provider because whenever we go to their house they prepare food. Kryzanin is the shy one or the one that doesn’t get mad.  She is the type of a friend that has a long patience and she didn’t hold grudges to us and whenever she speaks she needs to make her voice tone as high but for us it is not high enough. She has a strict parent to the point that she needs to be at home at 5 o’clock in the afternoon. Lastly, Manifel she is the one of a kind because our clique is not complete when she is not around, she has a passion when it comes to cooking, she will be there through thick and thin and she will give you advice that you'll never forget and lastly she is confidently beautiful with a heart. Being with them makes me complete, we can forget our problems through our laughs, we can’t finish and focus on our works and they are my stress reliever. Even if we have different personalities and attitudes, we stick together and find happiness to each other. They are the kind of friend that will never leave you even if they make a mistake on you and they are hard to let go.

The Beauty of the Philippines

Philippines is a tropical country that has two seasons which is rainy season and summer season. It has a lot of festivals that Filipinos celebrate and delicious foods like sinigang, adobo, kare-kare, balut, street foods and etc. where only in the Philippines can be found. The Filipinos is very hospitable to their visitors. The Philippines has beautiful destinations like in Boracay, Ilocos, Sagada, Baguio, Batanes, Batangas and many more. This country has a lot of treasures specially underwater and in the agriculture. The Philippines has a lot of tourist spots where foreigners visits and comes back again. There are also hidden places that several people or tourist can go or they discover. The Government really cares for the tourist destinations and I think the hidden treasures of the Philippines are slowly deteriorative because they didn’t focus on its preservation.

The Government should control the illegal logging in our country because when the typhoon comes, the flood will come and it will affect the tourist destinations. Planting trees is a big help for us, trees is not just for flood it is also for the environment. We also need to put our trash in proper trash can.

The Citizens of the Philippines should be disciplined on putting their trash to proper places. Because of this flood is very dirty and it is not safe for everyone, it may also lead illness and diseases. Having disciplined citizens is very helpful for our tourist destination because if we see clean sights it is relaxing and beautiful.

The tourist destination is very important to our country because it helps for the growth of our economy. It is also the reason how the Philippines known to the world. Some movies that made in the other countries choose our country as their shooting place.

Foreigners and tourist always comes back to the Philippines because of its beauty. The citizen of the Philippines should take care of our tourist destination or our environment because clean destinations may attract tourist. The beauty of the Philippines is one of a kind. So we, as a Filipinos must take care of our country not just for the tourist spots but also on our agriculture and traditions. 

IT’S A NEW WOOOOORD!

Treachery is a new word that I had learned recently. I found this word when I was reading a book however I got curious about the meaning of that word that I immediately looked it up in the dictionary. I found out that the meaning of treachery is an act of harming someone who trusts you or harmful things that are done usually secretly to a friend, your own country and etc. Treachery came from Old French trecherie, from trechier or 'to cheat'. The synonyms are betrayal, backstabbing, falseness, unfaithfulness, treason, and perfidy. The correct usage examples are “a tale of treachery and revenge” and “She was furious that she revealed his secret and never forgave her for the treachery”.

It’s all about me

Let me introduce myself, I’m Joanna Marianne D. Cabral or you can call me Jamie. I was born on March 10, 2000 and I’m 16 years old, I live at Malabon City. I live with my parents with my two older sisters. Some of my friends say that I am an unpredictable person I think it is because I didn’t tell to anyone my plans or what I’m thinking. I am a quiet person but my mind speaks loud, but when I’m around with my friends I am a talkative person.
